RE: RE: Want a rail?

Following suggests that with some dredging, low minimal draught (draft) barges with very large Fe Ore carrying capacities are possible & to lengthen the barging season air bubble technology in conjunction with some barge or tug/tow boat ice breaking capacity should work.

The Chinese may have many such ideas in mind for V.CO including making Pig Iron on Belcher Is.

Attempts will be made to travel on the supply barges that regularly travel on James Bay in summer, to record 'pelagic' species. Another possibility being investigated is the chartering of a fishing trawler for a trip from Moosonee to the Belcher Islands in Hudson Bay and return.
