RE: Making money - paying dividends (pickeral) The only way any company is worth a real return is by way of paying dividends out of profits, and that never never happens in the junior mining sector. So maybe the potential future that is talked about is important, because if they could produce 500 ton a day, maybe then they could pay a dividend, before its all mined out, and the original share holders then make real money on a return on investment.
I fully agree, pickeral. And I'm sure, we'll see much more producers, from small-scale to the big cahunas, paying dividends to attract investors, because it will lower their investment risk.
For junior miners (soon) to pay dividends, have a look at Starcore (SAM) and Excalibur (XBR), both with the goal of paying dividends in 2013 !
