RE: Berkshire Hathaway's IMC

RE: Berkshire Hathaway's IMC

Tarquin4.

IMC Group, is a subsidiary of Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway (BRKA) that holds a diverse portfolio of metalworking companies.

Buffett's Burlington Northern RR may get involved with the ROF as in 1999, BNRR system announced a $6 billion merger with the Canadian National Railway to create the largest railroad in North America, but in 2000 the deal was scrapped after the U.S. Surface Transportation Board froze all such mergers.

However, the ROF NS RR will be a huge money maker over the balance of this Century & the USGS will front end very long term Chromite Ore purchasing, in addition to purchasing by Buffett's Metalworking Companies.

Buffett may even be interested in CLF spinning off its ROF Chromite Ore, etc assets.
