Fortune Minerals plans to sell anthracite met coal to China, Vietnam

September 26, 2012 - 19:27 GMT Location: New York

Canada’s Fortune Minerals aims to sell its anthracite metallurgical coal to consumers in China and Vietnam once production starts at its Arctos Anthracite Project in British Columbia in 2016.

“However, mine start-up [will be] a simple PCI/sinter operation because it is a large [and] growing market with diverse customers around the world and declining exports from the traditional anthracite suppliers in China and Vietnam,” he said.
