A new drug, undergoing final testing by an Edmonton company, could give new hope to people suffering from rheumatoid arthritis, or those needing organ transplants. "Our drug was shown to be three to five times more potent than cyclosporin in all the animal models test' says Yatscoff.
Yatscoff says initial test on humans showed no kidney damage or negative side-effects. That finding has fast-tracked the nest two levels of testing.
