RE: Recap!

RE: Recap!

Don't fight, join us!

Everything is in place to move forward with the transformation. The next move will be checkmate against the "No vote" by next week.

Kittyday - To be completely honest I can not see joining the "us" you reference.  As far as I am concerned Yellow Media has yet to demonstrate the a recap was even necessary. Clearly, if they succeed they will have a much stronger balance sheet but it comes at a very high cost to the existing owners as their holdings are diluted into oblivion.

In the leadup to the vote you were flip flopping back and forth between YES and NO on a daily basis. It seemed like Yellow Media's failed attempt at the CCAA application finally changed your mind to vote YES. I expect is is human nature to try to avoid loss. That said, Yellow Media had acknowledge they were not in immediate danger of needing CCAA. So, I and many more like me, would have been a lot happier if the proposal was defeated and Yellow had an opportunity to go back to the drawing board on improve it.

I don't know how far you averaged down but even if you got your average cost down to $2/share, the new shares will have to go to $400 before you can hope to get your capital back to say nothing of the opportunity costs involved.
