In 1990 he acquired and then grew one of Australia’s largest finance brokerage houses, Equico, culminating in its listing on the Australian Stock Exchange in 2000.

In the Consumer debt recovery and credit card debt purchase industry he acquired Malwyn Limited in 2001 and was the major shareholder and CEO of what was then Australia’s largest privately owned debt collection agency specializing in credit card debt recovery.
