The problem with selling a property but keeping the company going is there would be no guarantee that investors would see any of the cash they realised from the sale.  It could go into the companies coffers to be wasted somewhere else.  I say wasted because Managment have not convinced me over the past 10 years that they are up to the challenges that lay ahead.

 

I would rather see a merger and rollback.  The merger is important because we need new ideas and if 3 or 4 companies could come together to forn a little giant then it might just attract some experts in this field.  Don't forget not that long ago CMA was trying to find diamonds off a barge in Africa, another scheme that burnt through cash.
