RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: Who gets thrown under the bus

Snowbird, by your comments about the CFO picking drilling locations I am afraid I have to label you a 12 year old probably living out of his mothers basement. Penner in his role did what was expected of him which was to find the money to move the projects to the next level fulfilling the requests for funds by the technical arm of management. He is not a technical engineer, geologist or geophysicist. He had no input on picking locations or designing facilities or pipelines. That fell into the Fishers and Gilmet areas of responsibility. Unless you have the technical credentials that these guys have it is very hard to challenge them on anything technical. He did not have any input as to development of the pools or the wrecking of the pools as you say. He just doesn't have that knowledge base. I suspect there must be a technical person on the board such as an engineer that would or should of been the last line of defense to keep management in check. If he didn't blow the whistle then we were all screwed. He must of believed what management believed that their program would work. Again sadly it didn't. Maybe didnt is the wrong word. It probably would work if you could replace the water voidage fast enough. I suspect that is why it was decided to move Penner up to the top to oversee the damage control. From here on he is playing a real role in the decision making process. But he wasn't while the Fishers and Gilmet ran the show. You can bet the board has done it review of the situation and I doubt very mush that they would keep Penner if he was grouped with the others.
