ASV POE CUV Should move soon

ASV POE CUV Should move soon Symbol: ASV.V Trading on The Canadian Venture Exchange. One of the major participants in the deep San Joaquin oil and gas play in California's Kern County is Aster Ventures Corp. A Canadian-based corporation, Aster is a major participant in the EKHO Project, funding a significant portion of the US $9.5 million capital requirements for drilling the first well named EKHO #1. The Ekho Project consortium holds a significant land position strategically located within the important structures known to host the oil and gas potential of the deep San Joaquin Basin. Aster's President and CEO, David Patterson, who is also chairman of the EKHO Project consortium, is a hands-on executive who follows closely the developments on the project. It is located 45-miles northwest of Bakersfield, adjacent to Interstate Highway 5, on the eastern side. The drilling itself has been completed in record time to the 19,085 foot level, making it one of the deepest drilling projects in North America where massive oil and gas reserves are believed to be present. Furthermore it was drilled at extremely low cost changing the economics of deep oil and gas development. The operator is now in the production-testing stage and Aster expects results shortly. Many energy experts have speculated that the deep basin contains huge reserves of high gravity oil and natural gas, with the potential to rival some of the nearby superfields. KEY MANAGEMENT TEAM David Patterson, President and CEO of Aster has managed exploration companies for more than 15 years. Through his network of North American and European investors, he has funded some $25 million in projects over the past three years. He is the founder and Chairman of Velvet Exploration Ltd., growing the company from a start-up to an intermediate oil and gas producer.
