I understand that the past is the past and all that but this is the second time around for these two companies, where from what I can see they didn't learn from their mistakes from the first time around and have only now just started to do something about their second round of debt/mistakes. My real worry tho is that if these two are down 90% from their new starting prices then what's in store for YLO- will it have a similar fate? That's the main reason I was confused about yours and Phoenix's love for these companies. Was their management even worst than ours? Do they have new people in place (before or after the merger)?
And yes I agree that it would have been best if YLO had managed to restructure their principle payment schedule instead of giving up 80%+ of the company - but I can only assume that they did make attempts on this and the MTN's weren't having it. I doubt it took this many months to come up with this plan if there were no other attempts at negotiating made during the process.
