Well let's see what the halt could be about:

 

1. CCAA proceedings

2. Roll up and subsequent dilution

3. Downgrade to NEX or CNQ

4. Buyout or other positive corporate transaction (very unlikely)

 

None of this stuff is good news for current shareholders except point 4 but that's maybe a 5% chance of happening. If point 2 is the issue, then that's bad news for current shareholders but good news for potential future ones who wish to get in after the activity.
