RE: RE: bidding war Well, I politely disagre. The reason is that a junior potash play is not really correlated with the general economy and it is the reason why I believe in those stocks. The action your seeing right now might be but as soon as you will have a positive FS the fun part will start. Potash is controlled by major corporation right now and developping countries are in desperate need for potash for their growing population. India has stopped subsidising potash buying and as now shifted it's money to looking for patnership or buying potash juniors. It's way better for them to control a potash production site then giving away their money away to POT.
Even if the economy still crashes some more in the US. Are the people in India,China, indonesia and the rest of the world going to stop eating ? The population is growing, the land is tired from decades of harvest and those government don't want to see people in the street hungry. IF the FS is positive...you will be fine.
My humble opinion is that the indians are just going to buy WPX. If you read the latest articles, fertilizer company over there and the government are looking to be the major player in WPX. They can easily absorb all of WPX production. I don't believe that they will want to just have an offtake agreement for that reason. If they just have an offtake they would still have to pay a decent amount for their potash to give us...shareolders....money. Buying it all, they would have all of it for them and they have the market to sell it all...and more. Just my 2 cents
