RE: Cliffmont drills 3 m of 1,175.5 g/t Ag at San No one else following this company? Thanks for the post sinvestor.
Shorter resume of the above + comments;
Cliffmont Resources Ltd. (CMO.V) has announced the drill results from the first five holes at their San Luis property in Colombia. The company has drilled almost 1220 meters and has successfully confirmed the continuity of high grade gold veins below two past producing mines.
At San Jorge, Cliffmont intersected 0.5 meters of an astonishing 106 g/t gold at a depth of 40 meters below the level of TVX sampling, and 2 meters of almost 11.5g/t gold at a depth of 70 meters.
Although both intercepts are quite narrow, it indicates there’s a certain continuity in the mineralized zones. Drill hole SLD-03 also indicates the potential of further mineralized zones, which will be drill-tested in the near future.
At the Merceditas mine, the main plan was to drill a deep hole to confirm the continuity below the old mine workings. Cliffmont found an intercept of 3 meters at an average grade of 1175g/t silver about 100 meters above the mine workings, and intersected 1.5m of 8.47g/t of gold approximately 50 meters below the old mine. A new and parallel vein structure was intersected below the primary vein structure. To date, it has not been tested at shallow depths although it is likely it parallels the mine workings.
CEO Jeff Tindale comments ‘We are delighted with these early results. The discovery of two new zones of mineralization at Merceditas, as well as the intersection of the primary vein structure 50 metres below the mine workings, is extremely encouraging and a great start in Cliffmont’s evaluation of this target. The San Jorge results show the high-grade mineralization continues to depth and has identified a large area of potential mineralization that requires drill testing.’
