Deal might still go through (Petronas wants it bad), and if not remember there was another very serious bid (shell perhaps), and nat gas has gone up in price since the original announcement.     PRQ will drop in price on Monday, but don't lose sleep-- the game isn't over yet.

 

The government is playing politics here.   Probably they want to kill the Nexen deal, and are afraid of annoying China, so are rejecting stuff that would normally be accepted.   Another person suggested they are playing hardball with the BC government to get Keystone approved, but I think this is more about Nexen.
