Questions to those in the know

I just wqanted to put this question out to those familiar with this type of drilling. Allowing for the fact that PEC may have not completed the drilling when they thought which is common, if they did finish and they did not hit gas wouldn't we be told right away as opposed to they did hit gas and now need time to evaluate the results. I am leaning to the fact that they must have hit something or we would have heard about it by now. Any info would be appreciated. GLTA
