RE: RE: RE: RE: Pete_rosco This isn't black or white.....how about existing management thinks that there may still be something there. Everyone always assumes management knows exactly what is in the ground - FALSE! Furthermore, management can guess just as well as we can as to exactly how the share price will respond to drill results.
People are letting their emotions run the whole decision making process. They are mad at the drill results and the share price response and needed someone to blame. Well, yes, the CEO is usually the target. So, the brain does something interesting - it creates mental defenses to protect our fragile egos against admitting we were wrong about our predictions - and instead of saying "oh well - property is not what we expected", grand conspiracy theories are concocted and the CEO is attacked verbally. All this to protect the belief that the DD that was done on dusty documents is somehow more relevant than the recent drill results and that "I CAN'T BE WRONG." Funny, the vigor and confidence grows as the number of shares in the account grows - see the logical problem with that? It shouldn't matter. And the property can never be in doubt - only management? My goodness.
In the end, the PP needs to go through for the company to have the cash to survive into 2013 with the hopes of more drilling. Why are people going to fight this?
