RE: Might come in handy - Class Action - "we" Schnapps:
I don't recall anyone appointing you or electing you as a spokesperson for "the many" which you refer to as "we". You certainly are entitled to your opinion(s) and of course, I welcomed comments and opinions including yours. I know what you are saying and I agree...If you can avoid getting the Legal guys involved, that is usually a better thing. BUT the truth is, they are always there, somewhere.
As much a pain as the Legal Beagles can be, the Big Boys have them and use them. The problem is the other many and varied shareholders (aka "the many") outside of That Group (aka "the Few) are so independent and think they are so clever and believe that they will outsmart the Big Boys that they ("the many") will never act as a Group. In most cases, especially in the Juniors Market, the Big Boys count on this disarray to make their money while the little people are left squabbling in the dark.
Anyway, my point in posting earlier, was NOT that we needed them BUT RATHER if we or some people on this BB did need professionals who worked in this space, here or somewhere else, now or somewhere in the future, that these guys do this kind of work. So, this was to make people aware that these kinds of professionals are available and they have a track record for success. So, if some people didn't know that and needed that service, at least they have a credible starting point.
In fact, I happened on them quite by accident while checking into another company on another issue and thought it was worthwhile posting here for those who might be interested and might find that reference useful. Outside of that I have never heard of that Legal Team. BUT I can assure you, I think I might find at least a few situations where they could prove beneficial in the future.
