Think about it: If yellow has the resources and the stated intention to buyback 2013 and 2014 notes now, who is going to sell them to YLO @ 75 or less? If YLO can buy the debt for 75, then it most likely will be fine beyond 2014. If it is most likely going to be fine beyond 2014, why would a 2013 and 2014 MTN holder sell them @ 75 when they are going to collect 100 in a year or two? "
 

 

That's like saying that if a company decides to buy out another company for $15 a share then no one will sell their shares for less than that on the open market during the wait time for execution.  Bottom line is that there will always be sellers and buyers in a market regardless of what the "guranteed" price is.
