WELL yes of course if governments subsidize industries with cash back they will put a mine into production! and lower the royaltie rates paid to the province,all the while the provinces pic up the tab for roads ,education court systems and other infrastucture paid for by the public

BUT the fact is this is supposed to be FREE ENTERPRIZE/CAPITALISM  BUT THESE DAYS THE WAY IT SEEMS TO WORK IS PRIVITIZE THE PROFITS AND SOCIALIZE THE COMPANY LOSSES.

CASE IN POINT BC LIBERALS/CONSERVITIVES want to build the peace river dam @ a cost to tax payers of over 9 billion dollars to SUBSIDIZE THE GAS INDUSTRIES FOR LNG

 

if this is such a great deal why doesn't industy build it or better yet with all this NAT GAS and the sposed need for electricities  and  build MUCH cheaper NAT GAS electric generation stations
