RE: RE: RE: prognoz

RE: RE: RE: prognoz

Some great conversation points by all and I think MM illustrates my level of disgust for the Russian majority shareholder as well as the market that allows this to take place.  I am a hybrid of MM and Tryte's speculation as to what happens.  I think that Severstal raises the offer a couple of times to try and get as many shares as possible.  I also think that Alexi does look at us as peasant scum that are just hindering his plan, and that WE are the ones that are greedy as he has increased value already. Because of this I think he will take every avenue to try and crush the minority every way possible.  He has been able to get away with this in the past with no repercussions so why wouldn't he continue to straddle the law and regulations?

I do have a question to Tryte's comment  "but he probably figures it could very well get him the majority of minority shares, which is all he needs to take all our shares for the current offer rate." What does this mean?  I thought they have to get 90% of the minority to force us to take the buyout offer?  Also, once this offer expires wouldn't they have to initiate a NEW offer and thus have to get 90% again, which would be much more difficult as these shares would be the strong handed minority?

I think that 1.40 is the bottom here and there is lots of upside with the offers alone.  If we are forced to accept somehow we could dissent and with all of the BS that they have done I think a judge may award big dollars.  I also think this whole situation has lawsuit written all over it, from the BOD to Paradigm to Severstal to Nord.  In their minds they have been smart but what they didn't count for was the same minority group following this through and weighing our options all along as we collected all the rope they were willing to give us!
