RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: Short position There may be suggestions to panic. The bottom line remains: Will the Chinese back out if Alderon/ Kami is the project it has been represented to be in terms of geology and logistics? No credible presentation has cast doubt on the basics of the project. It is not in the Chinese National Interest to have a Chinese company back out. The Chinese do not know how long it will take them to subvert Africa or Afghanistan to appropriate all the minerals they require on their own terms. Canada is safe with tremendous mineral resources. If the Chinese stay in, the project will be completed. The Chinese may screw the company over, if there is a window for re negotiation, but even that may carry risk to the Chinese Image in Canada. Suppose the Chinese want to participate in Julienne Lake. How would a track record that includes screwing over Alderon look? Why would the Chinese want to participate in Julienne Lake? Because in this iron ore economic environment a long term investor with unlimited capacity to play smart and execute should be very favorably positioned to make a move. :)
