Anyway, $26 million in non-capital losses exist. Some value there, but it makes a person wonder what's to show for it after 6-8 years. To make more money from losses and than from a business, seems odd, given all the effort gone into developing the company.
From their recently filed SEDAR statements, it looks like Advantex (ADX) is doing a better job of being an Aeroplan reseller than Futura. I think ADX only started with Aeroplan in 2010, whereas FUT started on Feb 5, 2009. ADX will renegotiate their contract with Aeroplan in Aug 2013.
If Aeroplan gave the auto dealer/service categories to Advantex as ADX is seeking new retail categories, it would be the last straw. Both companies trade at 1/2 cent partly because both have large debt loads, diluted stock and revenues are straining to meet debt obligations.
