RE: RE: Buyback Concept
RE: RE: Buyback Concept Well said and food for thought too. I don't agree with the idea of Newmont dumping and rebuying. Big co.'s like that don't mess around like that. If they wld dispose of 20MM shares it wld be on a permanent basis.
As far as $ goes I too agree that $ is king. However at some point you really have to ask yourself how deeply you believe in the co. If it's a whole lot then it might just be best to reinvest $1.95 shares sold a year earlier to buy $0.35 shares today. That's 5 X your money and whole lot less float.
I don't know enough yet about Ron T. to judge more than I have too but I do give credence to any individual investor such as him (not corporates) that hold 18MM shares. Bottom line is this guy has serious skin in the game and that carries more weight with me than some flashy management promoting their toxic stock while waiting like the rest of us. Also let's accept the fact that this is nothing more than an explorer. Explorers have little fresh news to bolster the markets other than drill results and the somewhat rare new resource calcs be they 43-101 or other.
I'm sure Ron et al. read these boards. Most co.'s do yet they rarely acknowledge the fact. What do u guys think of this alka singh? I learned of her a few years back but am not enamored as of yet. Do u think she might be shooting a little high with her $2 prediction for LVN?
Just my 2 cents and GLTA
