That does not stack up – they are Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer and Chairman and they were the “founder” directors after having got together in 2001 (see Northern Miner extract below). Back in 2003, their IPO for Metanor shares were at a price of C$1. The only references to other directorships relate to Serge Roy’s previous incarnation in the construction industry and other mining businesses up to 1989 and now may only hold a single non executive role elsewhere. Metanor cannot afford the two top executives to be involved in other businesses.

Opportunity knocks
Metanor consultant Ghislain Morin was recovering from two heart attacks in 2001 when opportunity literally knocked at his front door. Metanor president Serge Roy was doing the knocking with a geologist’sreport for the 4.3-sq.-km Dubuisson gold property in his other hand.
