RE: BGM in Biz. Vancouver bxju, The following from FC sounds fine...
>>>>Company president and CEO Frank Callaghan said Barkerville Gold still stands by the numbers in the first report, which was prepared by geologist Peter George of Geoex Ltd.
“We’re really confident in the numbers,” he said. “We support the guy that’s done the work, and we’re not prepared to throw him under the bus. He’s done a good job.”<<<<
except for one small detail. On June 28th the estimate was 10.6M ounce Indicated. On August 12th the Indicated resource dropped to what 6.5M ounces. 4M ounces is BIGGER than the resource estimate on Campbell / Red Lake for much of the life of that mine.
How can anyone have any confidence in a geo that lost 4M ounces of Indicated resource with the addtion or loss of any drill holes? What is that all about? Sort of sounds as being roughly equivalent to stiking ones head in the sand (or some other dark passage) and saying oh, yeh, this Cubian beach is wonderfull ... :)
