RE: RE: RE: TCM has pulled a 'pick six' here..... On Oct 4 TCM had a call concerning their new mine plan for the stop of stripping at the Thompson Creek mine, which would save $100 million over two years....if necessary to wait that long. Phase 8 ore will last to the end of 2014. They need positive cash flow to keep up the covenants on their lines of credit.
On October 19, TCM announced the conference call for Nov 8 to talk of 3Q results. TCM yesterday delayed that call one day to November 9. I see only one delay.
I am just hoping that Mt. Milligan is on track. We know they are into higher grade ore in Phase 8 at the Thompson Creek mine. Also, hopefuly, Endako has corrected its recovery problems. The same guys who set up Endako are now working at Mt. Milligan. Hopefully experience pays off. Also, I think they have started moving the first ore from the new pit at Mt. Milligan. It will be interesting to see how the grades match with the old drill results. Lots of possible good or bad news. I can wait an extra day.
