Teleconference I from Vancouver: Nov. 08 Sid Rajeev, chief analyst at Fundamental Research hosted the conference and Dustin Angelo chimed in when necessary to clarify questions and the overall situation. Sid did a good job in explaining the state of affairs for ANX and emphatically stated that: "Anaconda is the best (gold) performer in their FRC portfolio of stocks covered by their Company".
FRC expects to see ANX hit 4cents/share in earnings for FY 2013 and stated that in relation to their peers in the industry sector, ANX is grossly undervalued.
Dustin emphasized that the goal of the Company was to go from this year's (FY2013) 16,000 ozs. of gold produced to 50,000 ozs. then to 100,000 ozs of gold. This , he stated, will be done in stages organically through growth by exploration and deveof the Baie Verte Peninsula regional properties and when debt gets a bit lower, by M/A by acquiring producing assets in Canada and in the U.S.A. in order to move up to a mid-tier producer. He stated that the Company is currently looking for/at potential deals that would be accretive to the shareholders. He has a few that they are focusing on but right now, there is no particular one that they are prepared to move on just yet. Dustin emphasized that he wants to go carefully and be selective in what ANX ultimately targets to buy.
There were a few questions. One from Tony Ianno who was questionning the cost/ozs and another who wanted to see a dividend payout.
