- From abundance to selfishness;
- From selfishness to complacency;
- From complacency to apathy;
- From apathy to dependence;
- From dependence back into bondage.
Note that over the past 2 decades we have moved from apathy and as of this election the voters moved us to dependence........
The big change will be the last step in the 200+ year cycle....Under socialist policy the desire to build, to excel and to create anything but art and poetry is quite limited....as it always has been...
It's bad enough when you realize that all this has happened before and that people expect something different if tried again, but when you realize how many times it has been tried, and how many times it has failed and devolved into tyranny, the idea to try it again is absolutely absurd.
There will be nothing unexpected or new. The US has jumped the shark, as we are fond of saying...It has chosen to repeat the errors of the past that were made by our neighbors across the pond.
One wonders if they will come to our aid when we need it......?
