Aeroplan

Aeroplan

If the company is sold with the Aeroplan account, then the buyer will face the same problems as Futura.

If someone is interested, it could be only for the cash flow from reselling Aeroplan miles or else they know something that Futura doesn't when it comes to marketing and increasing miles issued by car dealers.

That's why I feel that David should have a strategy talk with Aeroplan who are familar with all the in's and out's of the loyalty industry. The value Futura can get if sold, depends in part to what can be further done with the Aeroplan account. Or what Aeroplan will allow the new reseller to do.

Aeroplan would want to see any new reseller to expand on sales and not sit on the current cash flow and the contracts Futura has. If the new reseller can prove that  Aeroplan sales will increase bigtime in the car dealership category, Futura better be aware of this beforehand. So go talk with Aeroplan.

Maybe Fuutua missed some important marketing technique or simply had a lack of follow-up (lost touch once dealers signed-on) with the car dealers. It seems like it was this way: Here`s Aeroplan.  We will help set it up. Now do what you want. Any questions, please call us.... Goodbye.
