RE: 1.78

RE: 1.78

Personally i wasn't saying that was happening here just why US holders of any stock would be considering selling stocks with gains in this fy as the capital gains tax change into 2013 is a certainty as it is an immediate reversion to former tax rates under the sequester deal.

As to these conspiracy theories on Anon et al, the market is a pit of demand and supply so if Anon has a seller down to a certain level of course they will take out the bids down to that level, and they can do it as many times as they like, BUT, as you will have experienced in your own trades, you do not necessarily know the real volume at any bid or even sell price at the time of the trade. Who hasn't put in a bid at a price where the lots shown in level2 indicate you won't get filled but you do get filled immediately. Vice versa, selling at a limit can be filled even if the bid at level2 shows there are not lots available at that time. I don't see how you can micro-analyse what any broker firm is doing at a moment in time except the overall buy/sell transactions that have occurred after a period in time. JMHO
