JT: “In addition, some of Dynacor's competitors were recently de-licensed by the Peruvian government for using mercury-based processes in recovering gold. That played to Dynacor's favor because its environmental compliance is fully up to snuff.
Jean Martineau, the company's CEO, is a Canadian who has spent many years in Peru. He built Dynacor slowly, depending on internal growth. Because of him, Dynacor enjoys a great relationship with the small miners in Peru.”
So if I was Dynacor, having a great relationship with small miners, I would look at evaluating any de-licensed ore processing operations and see if there are any opportunities, any available for sale and the cost of upgrading and re-licensing them. Government of Peru and small miners would be looking for increased approved and permitted ore processing capacity . I did have some discussion with IR in April and May, 2012 and they were analyzing the whole custom ore processing market then knowing the new laws were coming. So it will be interesting to see if permitting for more then one new processing plant is approved when DNG makes a long awaited announcement. Any thoughts?
Still buying DNG when I can.
