Technical question about Owen Dir sirs:
On oct 12, Petrofrontier issued a press release stating the following:
"A successful hydraulic stimulation was performed on the Owen-3H well over ten open-hole stages. PetroFrontier is very encouraged by the low fluid injection pressures and high injection rates evident during the stimulation."
Can someone with a technical background please explain (in simple words, please) why Petrofrontier is encouraged because of "low fluid injection pressures" and "high injection rates"? what does it mean for the potential outcome of the well?
Apologies for my ignorance
Thanks in advance
Fernando
