Be that as it may, Mart must have looked at other appealing assets that fit the bill. The properties Mart may have considered thus far can't all be duds. As an alternate, I'd prefer to see Mart also grow by acquisition than to merge. Would it not be more advantageous to buy a company with producing assets and growing production such as CAMAC than to fork out full field development costs on a property with no current production or infrastructure?
