I'm not a huge fan of Chad's "ex Cannacord r sales broker" persona but I found his interview a bit more candid than usual. He did admit to Thurso's ramp up problems and that he thought the ramp up would happen in 3-6 months and not 9 months and counting. He also admitted than Landquart has become a high cost producer partly due to the stronger swiss franc. He also said there was no quick fix solution for Landquart. The only part of the interview that he blamed on external forces was a low dp price. He also acknowledged that the company needs to demonstrate a break through quarter in terms of operation.

At some point I could see a huge opportunity to make money on this stock. For that to happen Thurso needs to demonstrate that they can deliver costs in the mid to high 700's per ton after the co-gen is completed.
