That would have been the smart move. Unfortunately for the long suffering longs, IMO showing PG the door is still the smarlest move on the table. But now the company is invested in PG and will hold on that hope until all possibilities are extinguished... It gets ugly and then uglier... of course, I could be totally wrong here and PG prevails. There is no certainty here but the history of projects that slip is such that they are very likely to continue slipping until management takes appropriate action -- declare FIASCO, grab a fresh sheet of paper and start again... that is so very hard to do once you are invested.
Time will tell whether it is a sunny beach in Cuba or else a Grey Hound tour of Algonquin Park....
