WisdomTree US MidCap Dividend Fund DON

The investment seeks to track the price and yield performance, before fees and expenses, of the WisdomTree U. Under normal circumstances, at least 95% of the funds total assets (exclusive of collateral held from securities lending) will be invested in component securities of the index and investments that have economic characteristics that are substantially identical to the economic characteristics of such component securities. The index is a fundamentally weighted index that is comprised of the mid-capitalization segment of the U.S. dividend-paying market. The fund is non-diversified.

Without a dividend tax resolution in November, its just not worth hanging around in DLN in the month of December to find out what happens if Congress fails to pass legislation and does go over the Cliff.  So, assuming Congress does nothing but argue right over the cliff.., we can always buy DLN back in the new year on the assumption Legislation will be introduced, tabled and passed before Q1 ex-dividend date.  No harm, no foul but does allow for excellent political entertainment for yet another two months. Taking our +23% gain in DLN off the table and buying gingerbread instead with our bread.
