New Direction...well sort of... Sean Roosen caught most of us off guard with his recent purchase of Queenston Mining and I am sure most of us would like to better understand the timing of this purchase....and off course...why now!
The Canadian Malartic Mine should be his prime focus and he has reaffirmed this many times over....it is still most definitely is...but...the market was not prepared for this move and some decided to go to the sidelines for the short term. It is very important to remember that there is a large Short Position and "they" took advantage of this recent turn of events.
Is Roosen going to lose focus and direction?....absolutely not!
The recently completed, delayed blast of about 1 million tonnes of higher grade material from old Crown Pillar Mine Workings has paved the way for the Osisko Team to blend in higher grade ore and thus bring up the overall grade to a more respectable 1.0 g/t....the delay was costly...but...the gold was not lost...they have access to it now and will utilize it accordingly.
We must have belief in Management and their track record speaks for itself...the Canadian Malartic Mine will reach its full potential soon and we cannot discount that fact...to be sure!
The size and scope of this operation is huge...55,000 tonnes per day!

P.S. Sean Roosen is one intelligent, knowledgeable and powerful individual...he had his reasons for moving on Queenston at this time...let us not lose focus on his long terms plans... stick around for the ride!
