diamond62 - To the best of my knowledge the NCIB was for common shares only. There was no buy back on any of the preferred shares that I know about.
I could say more but I think your subsequent dialogue with BlueColler51 covers the relevant points. I remain unconvinced that Yellow Media directly owns 87.74% of its own preferred A shares.
Please offer a defensible scenario that supports your proposition as I can not see one.
