2) 10-20 Services / Advanced Cleaning Systems
President: Clay Williamson
Former Defense industry management consultant, former US Army Major and Program Manager for Body Armor and Fire Resistant Clothing.
10-20 Services has a patented "Advanced Cleaning System" that combines hydraulic pressure with a unique blend of detergents to deep clean military equipment in a computer controlled machine cycle without causing any damage to washed materials. The Advanced Cleaning System is able to address the needs of the global defense, security and protective services market.
10-20 Services recently received approval from the "US Special Forces Command" to proceed with cleaning a variety of their equipment items at the company's Lakewood facility in Washington State.
They will contract through Lockheed Martin and 10-20 Services will be the exclusive Sub-Contractor to Lickheed Martin for the services. The Ft. Bragg facility in North Carolina, the company's second cleaning and repair centre is actively being planned and is expected to open early in the new year. A third facility is pending approval.
Each facility will generate approximately $300K in revenue per machine with potential for multiple machines in each site. The company estimates 2013 revenue to be approximately $2M with $1M net profit.
The benefits of this technology are:
(a) safeguards the health of personnel;
(b) ensures components performance characteristics;
(c) ensures faster turnaround time for redeployment;
(d) extends the life of the components; and
(e) helps ensure the mission readiness of personnel.
The Advanced Cleaning System represents a revolutionary technology that changes the rules for how survivability and sustainability components can be cleaned and decontaminated. This unique patented and proprietary technology holds items stationary while they pass through four (4) stages of a cleaning medium. The entire process is computer controlled ensuring consistent results for all manner of organic and inorganic contaminants. Laboratory testing, supported by Canadian government research and development grants, has proven that the Advanced Cleaning System removes ninety-nine percent (99%) of contaminants. Components previously considered non-cleanable, or unable to be machine cleaned, can now be efficiently and effectively cleaned and decontaminated.
Where traditional cleaning systems are limited to the laundering of soft goods such as uniforms, the Advanced Cleaning System has been designed to clean survivability and sustainment components such as body armor, boots, helmets, eye protection, backpacks, webbing, sleep systems, holsters, knee pads and more, as well as uniforms and other articles traditionally laundered.
