It is engaged in the acquisition, exploration, and development of resource properties. It owns approximately 35,467 hectares of mineral claims in Saskatchewan. Its projects include South Grass Valley, Kelly Creek, and Awakening. The South Grass Valley Project is located approximately 50 kilometers (km) south-southwest of Barrick Gold Corp.'s Cortez complex, within the specific region of north-central Nevada. The Kelly Creek Project is located approximately 40 km north-northwest of Battle Mountain in Humboldt County, Nevada. The Awakening Project is located in Humboldt County, Nevada, 50 km north-northwest of Winnemucca, and 4,000 meters north of the 4.8-million-ounce Sleeper Gold Mine. The Company controls a large strategic land position in the central Powder River Basin of Wyoming and operates the Nichols Ranch ISR uranium project.

Why do they need to raise money? Seems to me it's a small financing at a dime to plug insiders in at a cheap price before the shares rocket higher. It's not overly dilutive so not likely to offend to many existing shareholders.

The fact that it is a small financing in my opinion is a positive development.

Just my humble opinion of course.
