Professional Opinions

Should always buy securities based on due diligence, proper evaluation and technical(s). Some investors will not invest in a company unless it has made money and paid a dividend for a minimum of ten years (BTW this is a criteria for my personal long term holdings). Recommendations are just that – a recommendation. It’s like taking advice from a broker (at one point in the past that was the only way to trade). Many brokerages have alternate agendas when recommendations are issued. Most of the time it means they are selling and are making an attempt to bolster the price in the process. Take their advice with a grain of salt. DO NOT FORGET these “professionals” will use other people’s money to invest in things they would never invest in on their own.

For the most part, the people on this site are probably giving an honest recommendation based on their own investigation because ITS THEIR OWN PERSONAL finances on the block. Can you imagine how much better companies would run if IT WAS THE LAW that CEO’s held majority personal responsibility in the companies they run?
