You both are correct, more or less; as far as the "C" was drilled.

Holes were spotted in the field using a GPS along a north/ south

grid and marked with flagged stake. Then Bort Longyear drilled

3 boreholes (from a single location setup) at apprx. 30, 90, and 150

degrees. The verticle hole would continue straight down until it ran

out of layers of magnetite and brought up at least 9 meters of pure

soapstone.The deepest vertical hole drilled was around 300 meters.

Then the drill was shut down, dismantied and flown piece by piece

to the next  drill site, re-essembled and another set of 3 holes would

be drilled, boxed and sent to the core tent for logging, mesuring and

splitting. I was there when the first holes of "C" ore body were drilled;

so I can verify that for every 3 holes one would be straight down.
