Aurcana Silver Corporation is a Canada-based company, which is engaged in the exploration, development, and operation of natural resource properties. The Company’s development properties are the Revenue-Virginius mine (the Revenue-Virginius mine or Ouray), located in Ouray Colorado and held through the Company’s 100% owned United States subsidiary, Ouray Silver Mines, Inc. (OSMI) and the Shafter silver property (the Shafter Silver Project or Shafter), located in Presidio County, Texas and held Aurcana Silver Corporation. The Revenue-Virginius mine is located in southwestern Colorado about 5.5 miles southwest of the town of Ouray. Access to the mine site is via County Road 361. The Shafter Silver Project, which is 375 miles southeast of El Paso, in Presidio County, southwest Texas, within a historic mining district.

Commercial Production for industrial power plants are tied to equipment contracts.  If a generator or boiler or pumping system is designed and rated for a specific output, the plant has to be operated at or above that level to satisfy a host of individual contracts.  Plant financing and regulatory requirements are likely to be tied to these criteria as well. I would expect Aurcana has a series of equipment contracts tied to commercial design operation as well. However if the plant is wholly funded by Aurcana they may be free to declare commercial operation at whatever power level they choose and still hold the equipment vendors to their design capacity for a period coincident with the date they reach that level and a defined period following that date.

There are likely  accounting rules tied to commercial production/operation and design ratings in regard to when you capitalize the plant and begin amortization for tax purposes. Perhaps there are some accountants on the board willing to weigh in on this aspect.
