Nathaniel Rothschild has secured backing of Robert Friedland for his proposal to unwind Bumi Plc’s relationship with Indonesia’s Bakrie family, Financial Times reports. Friedland agreed to invest $50m, FT reports, citing unidentified people familiar with the matter. Rothschild finalizing commitments from investors for $270m in equity funding, the FT report stated.
