RE: Will Metanor and Sandstorm deal again?

RE: Will Metanor and Sandstorm deal again?

If Metanor were to seek goldstream financing for Barry, then they should be in a position to negotiate a better deal in 2013, as the SSL risk would be far lower that it was when the BL deal was signed.  The BL deal had clauses to recover all its investment from Metanor, but Metanor never had any other cash stream to pay the contract minimum.  In contrast., a Barry deal would be underwriten by Metanor's 80% gold stream from BL.

An ideal scenario would be for SSL to provide sufficient streaming capital to enable Metanor to make it attractive for  Bonterra and Eagle Hill to agree to a freindly merger.  These companies are too isolated to become producers on their own account and even if they offered their shares at present day rock bottom prices, they would automatically become shareholders in a producer company.

My only concern is that directors would be so keen to move forward with Barry, that they do not negotiate vigourously enough on behalf of Metanor shareholders.
