RE: What am I missing here? firecracker, I'm calling BULL Sh *T!
>>>I currently own TMM and BRD and am taking a look at CRJ.<<<
.
REALLY! Just "taking a look" at CRJ? And then one proceeds to post FIVE times in 2 days PROMOTING anything they can find positive about CRJ? Huh?
.
So which is it, you already bought the shares and you are pumping away hoping to raise the price or you are Company shill / IR-type promoting CRJ?
.
Point is that there is "growth" and there is REAL GROWTH! The growth CRJ projects amounts to 66% over five years. In that same period, one of the stocks you own BRD projects 122% growth. Why would you want to buy shares in a company with HALF the growth potential as CRJ? Why not double up on BRD?
.
I could name a dozen companies with GROWTH plans over 300% in the same timeframe and well over half of those companies have management teams that have already built a company from scratch and then started over again. Why would you buy CRJ when it has such miniscule growth and for 17 years the SAME management team has been plodding along with next to NO GROWTH? You think that all of a sudden, some dude who is nearing retirement is gunna change his stripes and become a BIG GROWTH guy?
.
The real "potential" here in CRJ is the properties they hold. But with management with no imagination and very little cash flow, they don't have a way to grow the business. I like the properties and the "potential" they represent - but potential doesn't' pay the bills and doesn't generate revenues.
.
So yeah, it is a free country and one is free to buy CRJ shares with rose colored glasses on and pump away on a BB about how great they think it is. Until these assets get the leadership they deserve, one needs to ask them self - Is this the best place to put my money? or are there other companies with better leadership that can effect real growth and value appreciation?
.
Good luck!
