Alternate Symbol(s):  NBMFF

NEO Battery Materials Ltd. is a Canadian battery materials technology company. It is focused on developing silicon anode materials for lithium-ion batteries in electric vehicles, electronics, and energy storage systems. With a patent-protected, low-cost manufacturing process, it enables longer-running and ultra-fast charging batteries compared to existing technologies. It is a producer of silicon anode materials for the electric vehicle and energy storage industries. It is developing and optimizing its silicon anode materials, NBMSiDE, through its all-in-one manufacturing process. Its three types of products, NBMSiDE-P100, NBMSiDE-P200, and NBMSiDE-C100 are manufactured through its nanocoating technology and are based on metallurgical-grade silicon with purities of at least 99.95%. It has developed a nanocoating process to manufacture silicon anodes. RE: RE: SYMBOL CHANGE

RE: RE: SYMBOL CHANGE

I don't think they are in any short term danger of being removed from the exchange. That being said, assuming they have continued trouble raising funds I would guess they may be forced to de-list unless management uses their own funds to keep listing requirements current.

In my opinion what you are seeing is the beginning of a thining of the pack, pruning of the tree, whatever you want to call it. With a reduced availability of venture capital, only the best and strongest venture exchange companies will survive. In this market you better have a strong property portfolio and a successful management team or you will wither and die. If things do not turn around soon, expect to see about 75 companies end up on the scrap heap. Ultimately this is a good thing for the market as there will be fewer companies after funding and fewer investors burned by bad ideas.
