Southern Hemisphere Mining appoints Paul McRae to the board

(ASX: SUH, TSX-V: SH) has added the experienced Paul McRae to the board as a non-executive director.
McRae is serving as nominee director for Corporation (TSX: LUN, OMX: LUMI) where he currently holds the position of Senior Vice President, Projects.
Trevor Tennant, managing director for Southern Hemisphere, commented: “The Board is pleased to welcome Mr McRae as’s nominee director.
"His appointment is a demonstration of the strategic alliance between Southern Hemisphere and . Mr McRae’s significant experience in project management will add greatly to the Board and the progress of the Llahuin Copper/Gold Project.”
McRae brings more than 35 years of international experience in engineering, construction and management roles in mining and other industrial projects. He has managed complex projects with capital exceeding $1 billion for both owners and contractors.
The Llahuin Copper/Gold Project
Southern Hemisphere is progressing its flagship Llahuin Project in Chile via a US$35 million farm-in deal with the US$3B capitalised Corporation (TSX: LUN), with Southern Hemisphere also completing a US$5 million share placement at a 47% premium to Lundin.
Importantly, the initial joint venture budget provides for an accelerated drilling campaign at Llahuin, where Lundin can earn a direct stake of up to 75% over a six-year period.
