The charts from the MLG website are more up-to-date and show the recent downturn on prices.

 

If (and it's a big IF) NTC can show even a meagre profit either last quarter or in the current or next quarter given the problem with road washouts last summer and these prices, then you have to feel pretty confortable about hanging on to this stock till prices turn up again. I can't see other mines starting or resuming production till the prices pick up so that's the hope... that the grades at Cantung and the moderization and other work done in the last year will allow them to ride this out and establish themselves as market leaders.

 

Just as an aside, did you know that a 14.1 inch cube of tungsten metal  weights 1 ton/2,000lbs? The size of a breadbox weighs as much as 6/7 adults !! Throw in the other attributes (hardness, heat tolerance and anti-corrosive properties etc ) and it's hard to image that the demand for this metal is not going to rise dramatically, given it's relative non-toxicity.
